
I started out teaching myself Kung Fu by watching movies (Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan) in my childhood days in Colombia. I was always up to increasing my physical and mental strength. This in time would become very handy when confronting tougher situations, like joining the Army.
My search for physical fitness remained when I entered a career in the Colombian Army: 2 years of obligatory service, 3 years of jungle missions, and 5 years as a top commander's bodyguard. The military life and training I went through increased my mental and physical threshold. During this time, I learned about personal sacrifice and determination; both traits remain with me.
When I left the army, my interest in increasing my knowledge in fitness led me to try out a weight-training program. I wanted to know what it took and how it felt to add lean muscle and increasing my overall size. I wanted to know how it will affect my overall functional performance. I was curious since I had been told it would negatively affect my sport specific capabilities.
To my surprise, this type of training took me to the next level. I literately felt all my physical capabilities enhanced and suddenly I found myself doing hard core weight training. I liked the fact that I was not just stronger, but unlike before, I looked stronger because of owning a bigger body frame.

I trained diligently and entered several Colombian Bodybuilding competitions. As a result of my effort and dedication, I conquered several titles including:
Why Did I Become an Independent Personal Trainer?While training towards personal goals, I also wanted to share my knowledge and experience so I developed my skills in Personal Training and I became one of those amazing people that dedicate their lives to motivating people and showing them alternatives to bad eating behavior and a sedentary lifestyle.
Today, I am a successful Personal Trainer and I use my fitness background of Martial Arts, boxing and running to give you a well balanced training regime that will improve your current level of fitness in endurance, speed and strength. I help propel you to get in the best shape you have ever been.
